Safe Tourism Support – Service agreement & usage expectations

Purpose of the service

Safe Tourism Support is a public safety initiative that helps visitors connect with local authorities, report incidents, and receive real-time guidance. The service is free to use and is provided on a best-effort basis by the tourism safety office.

What you agree to

  • Provide accurate contact information so we can assist you when needed.
  • Use the platform only for safety-related communication and reporting.
  • Refrain from abusive, threatening, or fraudulent submissions.
  • Notify us if your contact details change during your trip.

Our responsibilities

  • Keep your information confidential as outlined in our privacy policy.
  • Route emergencies to the appropriate safety or tourism teams.
  • Store your data securely and remove it after your visit period.
  • Provide status updates or next steps when you report an incident.

Limitations

While we do our best to keep you safe, we cannot guarantee uninterrupted availability, response times, or prevention of every incident. The service does not replace emergency numbers—if you are in immediate danger, contact local emergency services first and follow official instructions.

Contact & disputes

Questions about these terms can be directed to the tourism safety office listed in your welcome materials. Continued use of the platform indicates your acceptance of these terms and the privacy policy.
